New Schedule 2026 – Phill Marley
I certainly have my work cut out for me this year, and that’s putting it mildly. There’s a long but exciting road ahead, filled with plans, commitments, and more than a few early starts. At the top of the list is visiting a large majority of Yorkshire’s visitor locations. From well-known beauty spots to quieter corners that often get overlooked, the aim is to capture each place in slow-motion video, letting the landscape breathe and tell its own story. These clips will eventually live on this website, forming a growing visual collection of Yorkshire at its most calm, cinematic, and characterful.
Alongside this creative work sits a much more personal responsibility. I’m committed to spending around five hours a day caring for an elderly parent. It’s a role that comes with its own rhythm, patience, and humour. Chief cook and bottle washer? That’s me. From meals to errands to simply being there, it’s a demanding job, but one grounded in love and duty.
Health also plays a big part in this year’s plans. Keeping up with a regular exercise routine is essential, especially with an ongoing back problem that refuses to be ignored. Gentle movement, consistency, and listening to my body are all part of the process. It’s not about pushing too hard, just showing up and doing what needs to be done.
Then there’s the quieter, creative side of life. Time for personal study and songwriting is just as important, even if it has to be carefully carved out of busy days. These moments of reflection and creativity help tie everything together, giving purpose and balance to an otherwise packed schedule. All in all, it’s a full plate — but one I’m ready to take on.
